Home sweet home

Finally, I’m home after 3 days boarding!! I was so happy when my humans came to pick me up!!! They were happy to see me too and kept telling me how much they missed me. But they were also a bit horrified to find many ticks on me despite applying Frontline spot on every month. Of all the times I’ve been to day care and boarding at the same place, this is the only time I came home with so many ticks and a horrible rash on my belly and chest. I overheard that I’ll be going to the vet tomorrow. Ooh I love my vet and I can’t wait to see him!

I was so tired that I was asking for belly rubs in my sleep.

My human won’t let me sleep in her bed tonight because I might still have some ticks on me even though she couldn’t find anymore….. but I don’t mind sleeping in my crate because I’m so worn out! I haven’t slept in 3 days!!

In case anyone was wondering, my humans went to Cameron Highlands for the weekend. The weather is much cooler up there and they grow lots of pretty, pretty flowers! Looks delicious to me!

My human tells me that this is her dream garden.

With pretty flowers hanging over the wall….

Shhh…don’t tell her, but….. between you and me, I honestly think she really sucks at gardening. All those plants she ever brought home died!! Including a grass patch she made for me. 😀

  1. Bwah!!!! Cookie, tell your mum I hope she gets to have her dream garden…Maybe you could paint her thumb green!!!! I’m so glad to hear your parents are back…a dog can never receive too much love!!!! Happy day little one!!!!

  2. Glad you are home, Cookie, and I hope everything goes well at your vet check tomorrow! Tell your human, I am bad at growing things, too. Every time someone gives me a plant as a gift I think to myself, “oh good, something else for me to kill.” 😀 Thankfully I am good at tending to my beagles, if not my plants!

    • Well of course, beagles are so much better than plants anyway, don’t you think? 😀 The vet check was okay, nothing serious but they had new assistants at the clinic and that made me a little terrified of going into the room!

  3. Hope you get rid of the ticks!

    • My human had plucked out all the ticks she could find….hopefully those are the last of them! 😀 She said my fur is too thick and she couldn’t see if there were any in my black fur on my back.

Pee here!
